What are end mills?

Precision end mills with 1, 2, 3, 4 or more teeth (helical or straight fluted) are cutting tools designed for milling industrial parts, particularly in the fields of watchmaking, connectors, appliances, automotive and aerospace.

Delmeco SA end mills are manufactured with the greatest care and highest precision. A cutting geometry adapted to the machining conditions allows to optimize the production output in materials such as copper alloys, aluminium and various free cutting steels and stainless steel.

Delmeco SA is a manufacturer of high-precision micro-mills made of tungsten carbide (hard metal).

The manufacturing of the end mills starts from a diameter of 0.20mm and the tolerance of the diameter can be ±5 microns (thousandth of millimeter). Our range of end mills is also available with angles, radii or special shapes designed according to the needs of our customers. We also produce 1-tooth half-moon end mills(Z1) which are used in watchmaking to make tenons and recesses on the plates. A last category of mills, the tooth by tooth monobloc mill cutters, allow for the production of high-end gear wheels with special profiles from “dfx” files.
